I don't know if I mention it often enough how much I LOVE pretty pictures!!! And not just the pictures themselves but the whole process of making them ... from working closely with people - finding inspiration in their love stories - collaborating to create the perfect look with location and styling - finding beautiful light and composition - creating a fun experience and enjoying each others' company in the session - through to the editing process, sharing the images, and finally delivering a beautiful product for them to enjoy for years. I love each step! And today's post is an excellent example of this smooth process.
Tiffany is a friend from college and when we decided to do some engagement photos we tossed around a lot of different ideas regarding location and styling. We knew it had to be FUN and colorful to reflect Tiffany and Norton's personalities. When she came up with the idea of doing it at the fair - I was thrilled! That set the tone for everything and gave us a very playful environment to work in. It was definitely a challenge to be among such a crowd and still keep the focus on them ... but that was part of the excitement and made their images completely unique.
