Family :: Babies ... Families ... and Lots of LoveI do love photographing babies and families. Even though my business is mostly focused on couples and weddings ... it's wonderful to change things up every now and then and photograph the sweetness of family life. My approach is to relax and play ... so my family portraits sessions turn out with casual look that is perfectly honest, simple, and fun.
Since I am officially starting my own family sometime this July ... (omg! only six more weeks to go! nursery pics coming soon!) I have to plan way ahead and be little more strict about my schedule than I have been in the past. That means it's time for you ... my wonderful friends and portrait clients ... to start thinking now about planning a fall family session with me. I will be doing a limited number of sessions (weekends only) in lSeptember and October. If you're interested in Christmas photos or cards this will be the ONLY times for those sessions. This is Quinley Grace
This is Quinley's big brother Kolby ... who loves to "pet" her.
One of my favorites EVER ... this is Emily, Robbie, and Myles Mathis. I photographed Emily and Robbie's wedding back in 2008 ... and I absolutely love getting to document them now as a family with spunky little Myles.
Every now and then I have a chance to photograph a high-school senior and I love it! This lovely lady is Valerie ... and she was awesome to photograph! It was like working with a pro model for real!
This precious little group of three is the Ogle Family. I got to meet little Amelia Lashley back in December when I did her 3 month session. Now she is 8 months old and steady on the rise. It's almost sad when you think about how quickly they grow and change. THIS is why pictures are so good!
And this is the Carroll girls ... Layla and Livia. I photographed Layla's first year and can't believe what a big girl she is now. And she's an awesome big sister too!
These next three are recent addition to my best friend Jamie's family. She and her husband Michael have fostered so many kids over the last I don't know how many years ... and finally they were able to adopt Drew, Emma Lee, and Reagan. They gussied up in their Easter duds for this session.
And finally, here is the Abernathy family: Leslie, Andy, Cooper, and Brooks. I've been photographing the many family stages of these country folks ever since Leslie and Andy's wedding back in 2007 (i think!). What a joy to see them grow and with each session they are cuter than ever!
