There are a lot of things that I love to do and so little time to do them all! I have always been determined to spend my life doing what I love. No acceptions. Its pretty hard to keep that commitment 100% of the time … but this resolve has led me to some really amazing places. Case and point: Julie Roberts Photography.
But don't put me in a box. I am not just a photographer. I started this post out with a statement I will make again: There are A LOT of things that I love to do. Some things that just drive me wild: dance, pottery, singing, teaching, and here lately I have had YOU on my mind.
Yes, you … reading this blog … you just love taking photos … so much that you day dream about what you will do with your secret passion (besides stalking blogs). Maybe you will start a business someday … maybe you will just be awesome at photographing your family socials … either way you can't get enough of that little camera of yours. If only you knew what all those buttons and knobs on that little camera actually did. If only you understood the world of potential that you hold in your hands.
If you are wild about taking pictures … then I am WILD about teaching you how to do it. I would LOVE for you to join me at my next Photography Elementary Class on August 6th. This is the workshop that is really centered on the very technical basics of using your camera. But we are going to get a little introspective and talk about our hopes and dreams … and then we are going to do a group photo shoot together … of each other. I want to talk about knowing yourself and seeing others … and how all of that will relate to making you a better photographer. Not just a picture taker.
