Wedding :: Heather Larsen & Andrew McDonald :: Married!!! :: KnoxvilleHeather and Andrew were married last week on a perfectly warm summer Saturday. I was so honored to be a part of this beautiful day.
Andrew was equally excited to see his bride.
I have seen a lot of excited brides and grooms before. But the anticipation between these two was palpable.
And their first embrace brought tears to my eyes.
It was so wonderful to have time set aside specifically for these photos.
I love Heather and Andrew's way of being with each other. They are so openly affectionate and their love just shines.
I loved this detail ... a prayer before the ceremony.
And you know that emotion where you confuse crying with laughing ... that's one of my number one favorites.
Assisting me for the day was Candace Wilson of
Candace Wilson Photography. Sara wasn't available so I was really happy to have Candace's help. She was wonderful to work with. She took the image on the right below ... which was captured just after Heather and Andrew exited their ceremony. What a beautiful moment! Way to go Candace!
Heather and Andrew did a traditional receiving line. Since we did all the portraits before the ceremony it was easy to fit this into the schedule. I loved photographing all the guests congratulating the newly-weds. I especially love the grand parent moments.
