Welcome to my Blog

Hi, I'm Julie ... artist, photographer, potter, etc. I am so happy you are here! I consider this blog my creative journal where I can share my recent work, ideas and dreams, and lots of little details about my life. Please make yourself at home. Whether you are a bride-to-be, a photographer, or just a visitor, I hope you will find inspiration here and even become a friend.

Oh, and just in case you haven't seen enough of Izzy on my blog ... you'll be seeing a little bit more of her in a few days when I post some images from her Boudoir Session. Yesterday I met with Hallie and Cliff who are getting married at the end of May in Mountain City. I am not really looking forward to the drive ... but I can't wait for the wedding! This couple is adorable and so much fun!!!!

Last night I photographed the rehearsal for Ashley and Justin's wedding at Dollywood! I couldn't believe the drastic weather change - so beautiful yesterday to totally wet and icky today. Regardless the wedding was still perfect! I can't wait to show you more of these images.

I can't wait to see the rest of these! And you have made me want to learn how to take better pictures. You've inspired me! Ha! Every time I've gone out to the mountians since I was 18 years old, I've taken a camera with me and shot a bazillion photos, many of which are not good :-P I used to buy those disposable ones before a hike because I couldn't afford a real camera. I still don't have a good camera but, I swear, I had so much fun on Sunday wandering around the forest and "framing" things. Fun. Fun. Fun.
