Growing up in East Tennessee my grandfather gave me my first camera when I was very young and even then I knew that taking pictures was important to me. In college I discovered photography as a way for me to see and appreciate the world I lived in. My photographs gave a new life to the family members I had always known. Through photography, I was able to realize the importance of simple things I had somehow missed before: the joy in my mother's smile, the tenderness of my brother becoming a father, the fearlessness of my nephews and the unconditional love that dwells among us all. Those photographs strongly impacted my growth into adulthood and stay with me now as good photographs do ... memories I can look at and touch and keep forever.
It's no surprise I find myself building a career as a wedding photographer. I love watching people fall in love, learning about the way a family works, and illuminating those relationships through lasting images. Your wedding album should be a gallery of personalities and laughter, quiet moments, precious details, and joyful celebration. My reward as your wedding photographer is giving you and your family the opportunity to relive your special day and experience all the moments you may have missed or forgotten. |
